There are many native Australian plants and animals to be found on the beautiful Kangaroo Island, including Australian sea lions, koalas, wallabies and more!
Kangaroo Island is Australia's third largest island stretching 155 kilometres long and 55 kilometres wide. Having been separated from the mainland during the last ice age, Kangaroo Island is a true wilderness, and 30% of the island is protected as conservation and national parks. Many plants and animals existing on the Island are no longer found elsewhere.
